Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Spray a 13 x 9 inch glass baking dish with non-stick cooking spray.

  4. Melt 4 tablespoons of butter in the pot, then whisk in flour, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper to create a roux.

  6. Pour the thickened gravy over the browned sausage in the baking dish.
