  3. Pour in the milk, vanilla extract and salt. Mix until combined and smooth.
  4. Gently fold in chocolate chips if desired. Ensure even distribution.
  5. Spoon mixture into sealed jars, leaving room for oats to soak. Seal tightly.
  6. Refrigerate for 6-8 hours or overnight.
  7. Stir well before serving. Adjust consistency with milk if necessary and add toppings.
