  • 3 medium Potatoes, peeled and diced Sweet potatoes are a healthier choice.
  • 1 tsp Salt Adjust to taste.
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper White pepper can be used for a different flavor.
  • 1 tsp Paprika Smoked paprika can add extra depth.
  • 1/2 tsp Dried Oregano Fresh oregano can substitute for freshness.
  • 1 cup Cheddar Cheese, shredded Can swap for mozzarella or pepper jack.
  • 1/2 cup Beef Broth Chicken or vegetable broth can be used as alternatives.
  • 1 tbsp Fresh Parsley, chopped Can substitute with cilantro.

Cooking Steps
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat until shimmering.
  2. Add 1 pound of ground beef to the skillet and brown it for about 5-7 minutes.
  3. Stir in 1 chopped onion and 2 minced garlic cloves, cooking for another 3-4 minutes.
  4. Combine 3 diced potatoes with the beef mixture and season with salt, black pepper, paprika, and dried oregano.
  5. Pour in 1/2 cup of beef broth and cover the skillet, simmering for 20-25 minutes.
  6. Remove the lid and sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese on top, covering again for 2-3 minutes until melted.
  7. Sprinkle with 1 tablespoon of chopped fresh parsley before serving.
