Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  2. Cook the chopped bacon over medium-high heat for about 8-10 minutes until crispy.
  3. Boil a large pot of salted water and cook the shell pasta for about 7-9 minutes until al dente.
  4. Season the chicken breasts generously with salt and pepper.
  5. In a large mixing bowl, combine cream cheese, sour cream, ranch seasoning, salt, pepper, and garlic powder until smooth.
  6. Add the seasoned chicken breasts to the creamy mixture and spread evenly in the baking dish.
  7. Bake the dish in the preheated oven for 20 minutes until chicken is partially cooked.
  8. Remove from the oven and shred the chicken directly in the dish.
  9. Mix in the cooked shell pasta, chopped bacon, and half of the cheddar and mozzarella cheeses.
  10. Sprinkle the remaining cheeses on top and bake for an additional 5-10 minutes.
  11. Broil the casserole for about 3 minutes until the top is golden.
  12. Let the casserole rest for 2-3 minutes and garnish with chopped green onions before serving.
