  • 1/2 cup Brewed Chamomile Tea Use high-quality tea or loose flowers.
  • 1 large Ripe Banana Select bananas with brown spots for sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon Honey Opt for raw or organic honey.
  • 1 cup Milk (or Milk Alternative) Almond, oat, or regular milk work well.
Optional Enhancements
  • to preference cup Ice Cubes Add for a chilled drink.
  • to preference Dried Chamomile Leaves Use as a garnish.

Method
 

Directions
  1. Begin by boiling water in a kettle and steep 1/2 cup of chamomile tea for about 5 minutes, then let it cool.
  2. While the tea cools, peel and cut the large ripe banana into smaller chunks.
  3. In a blender, combine the cooled chamomile tea, banana pieces, honey, and milk (or alternative). Blend until smooth.
  4. Pour the smoothie into a glass and garnish with dried chamomile leaves or a banana slice.
