- In a medium mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of heavy cream, 1 cup of whole milk, and 3/4 cup of granulated sugar. Whisk until the sugar dissolves.
- Stir in 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract and 1 tablespoon of almond extract. Optionally add corn syrup and crushed orange zest.
- Mix in blue food coloring gradually until desired shade is reached.
- Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn for about 20-25 minutes.
- For no-churn alternative, pour into a shallow dish, freeze, and stir every 30 minutes for 2-3 hours.
- Transfer the churned ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 3-4 hours.
- Let sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before scooping, then serve in bowls or cones.
