Method
 

Instructions
  1. In a medium mixing bowl, combine 2 cups of heavy cream, 1 cup of whole milk, and 3/4 cup of granulated sugar. Whisk until the sugar dissolves.
  2. Stir in 1 tablespoon of vanilla extract and 1 tablespoon of almond extract. Optionally add corn syrup and crushed orange zest.
  3. Mix in blue food coloring gradually until desired shade is reached.
  4. Pour the mixture into your ice cream maker and churn for about 20-25 minutes.
  5. For no-churn alternative, pour into a shallow dish, freeze, and stir every 30 minutes for 2-3 hours.
  6. Transfer the churned ice cream to an airtight container and freeze for at least 3-4 hours.
  7. Let sit at room temperature for 5-10 minutes before scooping, then serve in bowls or cones.
