Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Cut chicken breasts into 1-inch pieces, season with garlic powder, salt, and pepper, and dredge in flour.
  2. Heat olive oil over medium-high heat, add chicken, sear for 3 minutes per side until browned, then set aside.
  3. Melt butter in the skillet, add cremini mushrooms and onion, sauté for 6-8 minutes until onions are translucent.
  4. Stir in Dijon mustard and Worcestershire sauce, add minced garlic, and cook for 1 minute.
  5. Pour in chicken broth, return chicken to skillet, and simmer for 2 minutes.
  6. Reduce heat to low, stir in sour cream gently without boiling, and adjust seasoning before serving.
