- Pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the salmon for 4–5 minutes on each side.
- In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, add butter, and melt. Stir in minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
- Pour chicken broth into the skillet, scraping the bottom. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and Italian seasoning. Let simmer for 3–5 minutes.
- Return salmon to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and let simmer for 2–3 minutes to heat through.
- Remove from heat, garnish with parsley or basil, and serve immediately with steamed vegetables or a salad.
