Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry and season both sides with salt and pepper. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat and sear the salmon for 4–5 minutes on each side.
  2. In the same skillet, reduce heat to medium, add butter, and melt. Stir in minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute.
  3. Pour chicken broth into the skillet, scraping the bottom. Stir in heavy cream, Parmesan cheese, lemon juice, and Italian seasoning. Let simmer for 3–5 minutes.
  4. Return salmon to the skillet, spoon sauce over it, and let simmer for 2–3 minutes to heat through.
  5. Remove from heat, garnish with parsley or basil, and serve immediately with steamed vegetables or a salad.
