  • 2 cans Canned Beans (Kidney, Pinto, or Black) drain and rinse before use
  • 2 cans Tomato Paste 6 oz cans
  • 1-2 cups Fresh Tomatoes diced; can substitute with canned diced tomatoes
  • 2 cups Bone Broth/Beef Broth adds depth to the chili
For the Seasoning
  • 1-2 tablespoons Garlic Powder
  • to taste Paprika
  • to taste Cumin
  • to taste Black Pepper fresh-ground preferred
  • to taste Chili Powder adjust for heat level

Step‑by‑Step Instructions for Crockpot Chili
  1. Brown the Ground Beef and Onions by heating oil in a skillet, adding ground beef and diced onion. Cook for 8-10 minutes until browned and softened.
  2. Transfer the cooked beef and onion mixture into the slow cooker, spreading it evenly.
  3. Add the drained beans, tomato paste, broth, and diced tomatoes to the slow cooker, mixing thoroughly.
  4. Sprinkle in the spices and stir to coat all ingredients with seasoning.
  5. Optional: Add any extra veggies or proteins at this point.
  6. Cover the slow cooker and set to low for 6-8 hours or high for 4 hours.
  7. After cooking, taste and adjust seasoning, and serve hot.
