  1. Preheat the oven to 325°F (165°C) and prepare the baking sheets with parchment paper.
  2. Cream together 1 cup of softened salted butter and 1 cup of white sugar until light and fluffy.
  3. Add in 1 large egg and 2 teaspoons of pure vanilla extract, mixing until well combined.
