  • 15 oz Ricotta Cheese
  • 1/2 cup Pecorino Cheese Or Parmesan Cheese
  • 2 cloves Garlic Minced
  • 1 tsp Oregano Dried or fresh
  • 1 tsp Lemon Zest Optional
  • 1/4 tsp Red Pepper Flakes Adjust to taste
  • 1 tsp Salt To taste
  • 1/2 tsp Black Pepper To taste
For the Sauce
  • 24 oz Marinara Sauce Store-bought or homemade

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. Steam fresh spinach for about 1 minute until wilted, then chop finely.
  3. Cook the pasta shells in a large pot of salted boiling water for around 10 minutes.
  4. In a mixing bowl, combine steamed spinach, ricotta, pecorino cheese, minced garlic, oregano, lemon zest, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Mix until creamy.
  5. Spread marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
  6. Fill each pasta shell with the spinach-cheese mixture and place them seam-side up in the dish.
  7. Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
  8. Serve hot, optionally with extra marinara sauce.
