- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C).
- Steam fresh spinach for about 1 minute until wilted, then chop finely.
- Cook the pasta shells in a large pot of salted boiling water for around 10 minutes.
- In a mixing bowl, combine steamed spinach, ricotta, pecorino cheese, minced garlic, oregano, lemon zest, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper. Mix until creamy.
- Spread marinara sauce on the bottom of a baking dish.
- Fill each pasta shell with the spinach-cheese mixture and place them seam-side up in the dish.
- Cover with foil and bake for 20 minutes.
- Serve hot, optionally with extra marinara sauce.
