- In a large mixing bowl, combine ground turkey, yellow onion, jalapeño, honey, smoked paprika, thyme, cumin, and salt. Mix thoroughly until incorporated.
- Divide the mixture into 3 to 4 equal portions and shape each into a burger patty, creating a slight well in the center.
- Heat a nonstick skillet over medium heat, drizzle oil, and place the patties in the skillet. Cook for approximately 5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 5 minutes.
- In a blender, combine avocado, cilantro, sour cream or Greek yogurt, lime juice, and salt. Blend until smooth and creamy.
- Slice the hamburger buns and toast them cut-side down in the same skillet until golden brown.
- Spread avocado crema on the top and bottom buns, place cooked turkey patties, add corn salsa and cilantro if desired, then top with the bun.
