Preparation Steps
- Begin by taking a chilled glass and coating its rim with flaky salt for that delightful salty contrast. Moisten the edge of the glass with a lime wedge, then dip it into a plate of salt. Fill the glass with ice and set it aside while you prepare the drink.
- In a sturdy blender, add a generous handful of fresh strawberries. Blend for about 30 seconds or gently muddle until they reach a smooth yet slightly chunky consistency.
- In a cocktail shaker, combine the blended strawberries with lime juice, honey (or agave syrup), and a splash of orange juice. Stir or shake gently for about 10 to 15 seconds to meld the flavors.
- Add ice to the shaker filled with the strawberry mixture. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds, until the outside of the shaker feels cold.
- Carefully pour the strawberry mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice, leaving space at the top for the fizzy element.
- Top off the mocktail with club soda, sparkling water, or ginger beer. Pour slowly to preserve bubbles.
- Finish your drink with a lime wheel or a sprig of fresh mint for a visual touch.
