Ingredients

For the Mocktail Base
  • 1 cup Fresh Strawberries or frozen strawberries
  • 1/4 cup Lime Juice or lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons Honey or Agave Syrup, adjust to taste
  • 1/4 cup Orange Juice
For the Fizz and Finish
  • 1 cup Club Soda or sparkling water or ginger beer
  • 1 teaspoon Flaky Salt for rimming the glass

Equipment

  • blender
  • cocktail shaker
  • chilled glass

Method

Preparation Steps
  1. Begin by taking a chilled glass and coating its rim with flaky salt for that delightful salty contrast. Moisten the edge of the glass with a lime wedge, then dip it into a plate of salt. Fill the glass with ice and set it aside while you prepare the drink.
  2. In a sturdy blender, add a generous handful of fresh strawberries. Blend for about 30 seconds or gently muddle until they reach a smooth yet slightly chunky consistency.
  3. In a cocktail shaker, combine the blended strawberries with lime juice, honey (or agave syrup), and a splash of orange juice. Stir or shake gently for about 10 to 15 seconds to meld the flavors.
  4. Add ice to the shaker filled with the strawberry mixture. Secure the lid and shake vigorously for about 15-20 seconds, until the outside of the shaker feels cold.
  5. Carefully pour the strawberry mixture into the prepared glass filled with ice, leaving space at the top for the fizzy element.
  6. Top off the mocktail with club soda, sparkling water, or ginger beer. Pour slowly to preserve bubbles.
  7. Finish your drink with a lime wheel or a sprig of fresh mint for a visual touch.
