Method

Preparation
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).
  2. In a medium bowl, combine warm water and instant yeast, allowing it to sit for 5 minutes until frothy.
  3. Stir in olive oil, sugar, salt, all-purpose flour, and chopped fresh dill until it forms a dough. Knead on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic.
  4. In a saucepan, melt butter, add minced garlic, sauté for 1 minute. Stir in flour to create a roux, then whisk in milk and cook until thickened. Season with Italian seasoning, salt, and pepper, then mix in Parmesan cheese.
  5. Allow the dough to rest for 15 minutes, then roll it out into a 12-inch round and place on a baking sheet or pizza stone.
  6. Spread the garlic white sauce over the pizza crust, sprinkle mozzarella cheese, and arrange dill pickle slices on top.
  7. Bake for 15-20 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly, and crust is golden brown.
  8. Meanwhile, mix sour cream, mayonnaise, dill pickle juice, and chopped fresh dill in a bowl to create a dipping sauce.
  9. Let the pizza cool for a few minutes before slicing. Drizzle with crushed red pepper flakes if desired, and serve with the creamy garlic-dill sauce.
