  • 1 pound Steak (Sirloin or Ribeye) consider flank steak for a leaner option
  • 3 cloves Garlic fresh garlic is preferred
  • 2 tablespoons Unsalted Butter
For the Tortellini
  • 12 ounces Tortellini (Fresh or Frozen)
For the Alfredo Sauce
  • 1 cup Heavy Cream mix milk with a bit of flour for a lighter version
  • 1 cup Parmesan Cheese (Freshly Grated) avoid pre-packaged for best results
  • to taste Salt
  • to taste Pepper

Method
 

Instructions
  1. Cut steak into bite-sized cubes and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Melt butter in a skillet, add minced garlic, then sear the steak for 4-5 minutes.
  3. Cook tortellini in salted boiling water according to package instructions.
  4. In the same skillet, add heavy cream and gradually whisk in Parmesan cheese for the sauce.
  5. Fold in cooked tortellini and reserved steak, stirring gently to coat.
  6. Serve garnished with extra Parmesan and herbs.
