  3. Add 1 cup of heavy cream and scrape up any brown bits. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until thick, then stir in 1 cup of freshly grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley, simmer for another minute until cheese melts.
  4. Return the seared cabbage to the skillet, spoon the sauce over, and cover partially. Cook for an additional 5 minutes on medium heat until the cabbage is fork-tender.
