  • 1 cup Heavy Cream
  • 1/2 cup Powdered Sugar adjust to taste
  • 1/4 cup Cocoa Powder sifted
  • 2 tablespoons Butter

Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your convection oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. In a large mixing bowl, beat together the sugar, unsalted butter, and vanilla extract until creamy, about 3-4 minutes. Add eggs one at a time, mixing well after each.
  3. In another bowl, whisk together the cake flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt until combined.
  4. Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, alternating with the buttermilk. Gently mix until just combined; fold in chocolate chips.
  5. Pour the batter into a greased tube or bundt pan. Bake for 60-70 minutes or until a tester comes out clean.
  6. Allow the cake to cool in the pan for 20-30 minutes, then transfer it to a wire rack to cool completely.
  7. For the ganache, heat water, butter, and vanilla extract until melted. Whisk in cocoa powder and powdered sugar, then gradually add heavy cream.
