  • 1 cup plain Greek yogurt substitute with plant-based yogurt for a dairy-free version
  • 1 cup milk of choice almond milk, oat milk, or soy milk are great alternatives
  • 2 tablespoons pure maple syrup honey or agave syrup can be used instead
Optional Toppings
  • to taste nut butter try almond or peanut butter

  • 1 sliced banana perfect to balance the spices

Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together 1 cup of rolled oats, 2 tablespoons of chia seeds, and 1 teaspoon of chai spice until well combined.
  2. Add 1 cup of plain Greek yogurt, 1 cup of your chosen milk, and 2 tablespoons of pure maple syrup into the bowl with the dry ingredients. Stir vigorously for about 1 minute.
  3. Divide the creamy mixture into three airtight containers or mason jars.
  4. Refrigerate the jars for at least 4 hours or overnight.
  5. In the morning, remove the jars from the fridge and give the oats a quick stir. Top with optional additions like nut butter, granola, and fresh fruit.
