- Prep Yeast: Warm milk to about 110°F. Combine with a pinch of sugar and yeast. Let sit for 3-5 minutes until frothy.
- Mix Ingredients: Add egg, soft butter, and remaining sugar. Stir well, then mix in bread flour and salt to form a soft dough. Let rest for 5 minutes.
- Knead: Transfer to a floured surface, knead for 5-7 minutes until smooth. Shape into a ball, place in greased bowl, cover, and let rise for 30 minutes.
- Prepare Filling: Mix brown sugar and cinnamon. Grease baking pan.
- Shape Rolls: Roll dough into a rectangle, spread pistachio cream, sprinkle cinnamon mixture and chopped pistachios, roll tightly and slice into 6.
- Second Rise: Place rolls in the baking pan, cover, and let rise for 45 minutes.
- Preheat & Bake: Preheat oven to 350°F, pour heavy cream over rolls, bake for 23-30 minutes until golden.
- Make Icing: Beat cream cheese, pistachio cream, powdered sugar, and vanilla until smooth.
- Serve: Ice warm rolls and enjoy.
