Ingredients
  

For the Dough
  • 1 cup Warm Water Optimal temperature is 110°F
  • 2 teaspoons Active Dry Yeast
  • 1 tablespoon Granulated Sugar
  • 3 cups Bread Flour Use bread flour instead of all-purpose
  • 1 teaspoon Salt
  • 2 tablespoons Olive Oil Melted coconut oil is a suitable substitute
For the Topping
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter For greasing and flavor
  • 1/2 cup Light Brown Sugar May replace with white or coconut sugar
  • 2 teaspoons Cinnamon Star flavor of the topping
For the Icing
  • 1 cup Powdered Sugar Can substitute with a sugar alternative
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract

Method
 

Directions
  1. Combine warm water and sugar in a bowl, sprinkle yeast on top and let sit for 10-15 minutes until frothy.
  2. In a large bowl, whisk flour and salt, create a well, pour in yeast mixture and olive oil. Stir until a sticky dough forms.
  3. Cover the dough with plastic wrap and refrigerate for at least 12 hours.
  4. Grease a baking pan with butter, deflate the dough, and transfer it to the pan. Cover and let rise for 1.5 to 2 hours.
  5. Melt butter in a saucepan until golden brown, about 5-7 minutes, then cool slightly.
  6. In a bowl, combine brown sugar and cinnamon with the brown butter until dissolved.
  7. Preheat oven to 450°F. Dimple the risen dough and drizzle the cinnamon-butter mixture over the top.
  8. Bake the focaccia for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
  9. Cool in the pan for 5-10 minutes, then mix icing ingredients and drizzle over the warm focaccia.
