- Fold in frozen peas and carrots, cooking for another 2–3 minutes to warm the vegetables.
- Transfer the meat mixture into a baking dish, spreading it evenly.
- Spread the mashed potatoes over the filling, creating a smooth surface or rustic texture.
- Dot the top with small pats of butter.
- Bake for 20–25 minutes until golden brown and bubbly.
- Allow to rest for 5 minutes before serving.
