Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by washing the zucchini and slicing it into thin ribbons, ensuring they are uniform in thickness for even cooking.
  2. Place your wok or a large frying pan over high heat, allowing it to preheat until it's hot.
  3. Once the pan is hot, add canola or sesame oil and toss in the sliced onions. Stir-fry for about 2-3 minutes until golden and caramelized.
  4. Next, add the zucchini ribbons to the pan, stirring quickly to combine with the onions. Stir-fry together for another 2-3 minutes.
  5. Drizzle in the soy sauce while tossing the vegetables. Continue to stir-fry for just 30 seconds.
  6. Once combined and colorful, remove from heat and serve immediately, sprinkling with toasted sesame seeds.
