Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Prepare your work area.
- Roll out your puff pastry sheets to about 1/8 inch thick and slice into triangles.
- Add ham and cheese at the base of each triangle. Optionally spread mustard or add herbs.
- Roll each triangle from base to tip to form croissants, tucking the point underneath.
- Make the egg wash by beating one egg and brush it over the tops of the croissants.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden brown.
- Let cool on a wire rack for about 5 minutes before serving.
