- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a mixing bowl, combine softened cream cheese, sharp cheddar, sliced jalapenos, and garlic powder until smooth.
- Roll out the thawed puff pastry to about 6 mm thickness and cut into strips approximately 5 cm wide.
- Place a spoonful of the cheese filling on one half of each pastry strip, fold over, and twist.
- Arrange the twists on the baking sheet, spacing them evenly.
- Brush each twist with beaten egg for a golden finish.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes until puffed and golden.
- Allow to cool slightly, then serve warm with your choice of dips.
