  • 1 medium Yellow Onion diced
  • 4 cups Chicken Broth low sodium
For the Vegetables
  • 1 cup Shredded Carrots
  • 2 cups Green Cabbage chopped
  • 1 bunch Green Onions sliced, reserve some for serving
For Seasoning
  • 1 tablespoon Rice Vinegar or apple cider vinegar

Optional Ingredients
  • 2 large Beaten Eggs
  • to taste Red Pepper Flakes or Sriracha for heat

Cooking Instructions
  1. In a large pot over medium-high heat, add the ground pork and cook for 5–7 minutes until browned and crumbly. Drain excess fat.
  2. Reduce heat to medium and add the diced yellow onion, minced garlic, and grated fresh ginger. Sauté for 3–4 minutes until onions are translucent.
  3. Stir in the soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Then pour in the chicken broth and bring to a gentle boil over medium-high heat.
  4. Once boiling, add shredded carrots and chopped green cabbage. Simmer for 15 minutes until cabbage is tender.
  5. For added creaminess, slowly drizzle in beaten eggs while gently stirring to create silky ribbons.
  6. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper to taste and serve hot topped with reserved green onions.
