Method

Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Begin by heating 2 tablespoons of olive oil in a large pot over medium heat. Once the oil shimmers, add 1 finely chopped medium onion and sauté until it softens, about 5 minutes. Stir in 2 minced garlic cloves and cook for an additional minute until fragrant, then prepare for the next step as the aroma fills your kitchen.
  2. Add 1 pound of ground beef to the pot, breaking it apart with a spatula. Cook the meat until it’s browned and fully cooked through, around 8-10 minutes. If there's excess fat after cooking, carefully drain it away.
  3. Stir in one 15-ounce can of crushed tomatoes, one 8-ounce can of tomato sauce, and 1 cup of beef broth to the pot. Then, add 1 teaspoon of dried basil, 1 teaspoon of dried oregano, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Bring the mixture to a simmer and let it cook for 10 minutes.
  4. Gently add a 20-ounce package of refrigerated cheese ravioli to the simmering sauce. Stir to combine and ensure the ravioli is well-coated. Cover the pot and let it cook for 7-9 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  5. Once the ravioli is ready, reduce the heat to low and stir in ½ cup of heavy cream and ¼ cup of grated Parmesan cheese. Cook for another 2-3 minutes, allowing the sauce to become creamy and beautifully blended.
  6. Remove the pot from heat and transfer the One Pot Ravioli to serving bowls. If desired, garnish with fresh basil or parsley for an inviting touch.
