Method
 

Preparation Steps
  1. In a medium pot, bring 4 cups of water to a rolling boil over high heat.
  2. Once the water is boiling, immediately remove the pot from the heat. Add 3 black tea bags, 2-3 fresh rosemary sprigs, the zest of one orange, and a couple of thinly sliced ginger pieces.
  3. Allow the mixture to steep for 5-7 minutes, keeping the pot covered to trap the steam.
  4. Carefully remove the tea bags from the pot and stir in sugar to taste while the tea is still warm.
  5. Using a fine mesh strainer, strain out the rosemary, zest, and ginger slices from the tea.
  6. Stir in the freshly squeezed juice from two ripe oranges into the strained tea mixture.
  7. Allow the tea to cool at room temperature for about 30 minutes, then transfer to the refrigerator and chill for at least 2 hours.
  8. To serve, fill tall glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled Orange Rosemary Iced Tea over the ice. Garnish with fresh orange slices and sprigs of rosemary.
