Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. In a mixing bowl, whisk together warm milk, granulated sugar, and active dry yeast. Let sit for 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Add melted unsalted butter, salt, and egg to the yeast mixture. Mix well and gradually add all-purpose flour until a soft dough forms.
  3. Knead the dough on a floured surface for about 5 minutes until smooth and elastic. Let rise covered in a greased bowl for about 1 hour.
  4. Mix peach preserves, ground cinnamon, brown sugar, nutmeg, and melted butter in a bowl for the filling.
  5. Roll out the dough into a rectangle and spread the peach filling over it, leaving a border. Roll tightly and pinch the seams.
  6. Slice the log into 12 rolls and place in a greased baking pan. Cover and let rise for another 30 minutes.
  7. Preheat the oven to 350°F. Bake rolls for 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
