Preparation Steps
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C) and lightly grease a baking dish with olive oil.
- In a small mixing bowl, combine light brown sugar, soy sauce, rice vinegar, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Whisk until smooth.
- Pat salmon fillets dry with paper towels. Rub each fillet with olive oil, then sprinkle with salt and black pepper.
- Place salmon fillets skin-side down in the greased baking dish. Spoon two-thirds of the glaze over the fillets.
- Bake for 12 to 15 minutes until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
- Optional: Broil for an additional 1-2 minutes for a golden exterior.
- Let the salmon rest for about 5 minutes before serving.
- Transfer the salmon to serving plates, drizzle with pan juices, and garnish with freshly chopped parsley.
