Method
 

Step-by-Step Instructions for Asian Ground Beef Noodles
  1. Heat 2 tablespoons of oil in a large saucepan over medium heat. Add 1 pound of ground beef, breaking it apart. Cook for 5–7 minutes until browned.
  2. Stir in 1 tablespoon of grated ginger and 3 tablespoons of soy sauce. Cook for an additional 10–15 seconds until fragrant.
  3. Pour in 1 cup of water and add ½ teaspoon of white pepper powder. Cover and simmer for about 10 minutes.
  4. Bring a pot of salted water to a boil. Add 200 grams of vermicelli noodles and cook for 3–4 minutes until al dente. Drain.
  5. In a small bowl, dissolve 1 tablespoon of corn flour in ½ cup of water. Mix this into the beef mixture to thicken.
  6. Toss the cooked vermicelli noodles into the beef sauce over low heat. Serve topped with chopped spring onions.
