  1. Pat the salmon fillets dry with a paper towel to remove excess moisture.
  2. In a medium bowl, combine the olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, black pepper, onion powder, and optional cayenne pepper. Rub this mixture over the salmon fillets.
  3. Drizzle the salmon with fresh lemon juice and let sit for a couple of minutes.
