Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. In a medium bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, smoked paprika, kosher salt, and black pepper. Whisk until well blended. Add the chicken thighs to the marinade, ensuring each piece is fully coated. Cover with plastic wrap and let them marinate in the refrigerator for 15-30 minutes.
  2. Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.
  3. Once marinated, remove the chicken from the refrigerator and place it on the prepared baking sheet. Generously coat both sides of the chicken with BBQ sauce.
  4. Transfer the baking sheet to the preheated oven and bake the chicken thighs for 25-30 minutes, brushing with additional BBQ sauce halfway through.
