Step-by-Step Instructions
  1. Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C) and place a cast-iron skillet inside to heat thoroughly for about 10 minutes.
  2. In a blender, combine the eggs, flour, milk, butter, salt, and pepper. Blend until smooth and frothy, then let batter rest for 5 minutes.
  3. Remove the skillet from the oven, add 1 tablespoon of butter and swirl to coat. The butter should melt instantly.
  4. Pour the rested batter into the hot skillet evenly.
  5. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese and bacon over the batter.
  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes until edges puff up and turn golden brown.
