- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- In a large skillet over medium heat, add the chopped bacon and cook until crispy, about 8-10 minutes. Remove bacon and leave drippings.
- In the same skillet, add diced onion and sauté until soft and translucent, about 5-7 minutes.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine baked beans, bacon, sautéed onions, brown sugar, BBQ sauce, mustard, salt, and pepper. Mix thoroughly.
- Pour the mixture into a greased baking dish and spread evenly.
- Bake for 30-40 minutes, until bubbly and golden on top.
- Remove from oven, let cool for a few minutes and serve warm.
