  • 8 ounces Large shrimp Deveined and optionally peeled
For the Sauce
  • 3/4 cup Low-sodium chicken broth Vegetable broth for seafood alternative
  • 1/4 cup Heavy cream Use coconut cream for dairy-free
  • 5.2 ounces Boursin Cheese Cream cheese can substitute
  • 1/2 teaspoon Dijon mustard Mustard powder can also work
  • 1 tablespoon Fresh parsley Optional; can substitute with chives

Method
 

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Pat the steaks dry, brush with olive oil, and season with salt and pepper.
  2. Heat skillet over medium-high heat for 5 minutes, then cook steaks for 4-5 minutes on each side until done.
  3. In the same skillet, reduce heat, melt butter, add shrimp, and sauté for about 2 minutes until pink.
  4. Deglaze skillet with chicken broth, add remaining broth and cream, and simmer for 2-3 minutes to thicken.
  5. Stir in Boursin cheese and Dijon mustard, taste, and adjust seasoning as needed.
  6. Return shrimp to the sauce, serve over steaks, and enjoy your gourmet meal!
