Ingredients

For the Mocktail
  • 5 Fresh Strawberries Substitute with frozen strawberries if fresh aren’t available.
  • 1 cup Orange Juice Freshly squeezed is preferred for best flavor.
  • 1 cup Sparkling Water Can replace with lemon-lime soda for added sweetness.
  • 1 cup Sprite Optional; swap for a sugar-free alternative for a lighter version.
  • 1 cup Ice Use clear ice for aesthetic appeal.

Equipment

  • highball or Collins glass
  • Muddler
  • spoon

Method

Step‑by‑Step Instructions
  1. Begin by muddling about 5 fresh strawberries in the bottom of a highball or Collins glass. Use a muddler or the back of a spoon to gently crush them for about 30 seconds until their juices are released but not pureed.
  2. Fill the glass to the top with clear ice cubes, aiming for about 1 cup of ice.
  3. Carefully pour freshly squeezed orange juice over the ice and muddled strawberries, filling the glass about three-quarters full.
  4. Gently add sparkling water or Sprite on top of the orange juice, ensuring to pour slowly.
  5. Using a long spoon, gently stir the drink once to combine the flavors without disturbing the layers too much.
  6. Finally, garnish with a fresh strawberry or an orange slice on the rim of the glass and serve immediately.
