- Add 6 ounces of finely chopped semisweet chocolate to the warm mixture. Whisk continuously until the chocolate is fully melted and combined, creating a glossy texture.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and pour the peppermint hot chocolate into your favorite mug. Top with whipped cream and crushed candy canes.
