Method
 

Preparation
  1. In a large mixing bowl, whisk together flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.

  3. Gradually pour the wet mixture into the dry ingredients, stirring gently until just blended.
  4. Set the batter aside and let it rest for about 5 minutes.
  5. Preheat your waffle iron according to instructions and spray with non-stick cooking spray.
  6. Pour about 3/4 cup of batter onto the greased iron and cook for 4-5 minutes until golden brown.
  7. Carefully remove the waffles and serve immediately with toppings.
